How to choose a country for Telegram

Telegram verifies accounts with a 5-digit login code, delivered by SMS (or inside Telegram on a device that is already logged in). You enter the number at the “Your phone number” screen when you start Telegram for the first time. Every country on this list is one where we supply real mobile numbers for Telegram verification, so the choice comes down to three things: what the account is for, price, and stock.

1. Match the country to how you'll use the account

If you want a local presence — channels, groups and communities where a local number looks natural — pick a number from the country you're targeting. Some apps also tailor content, payments or features to the number's country, and a number that matches your location and language settings tends to raise fewer questions during sign-up.

2. Compare prices

3. Check stock
