- Consider the app's photo verification: it shows matches you are who your photos say, and you can look for the badge on theirs.
- Never send money, codes or login details to a match. A request for a verification code is a common takeover trick.
- Meet in a public place for the first date and tell a friend where you'll be.
- Add an email or another login method to your dating account where offered, so you aren't locked out if you lose a number.

Should I use a single-use OTP number or a number I keep?
