Why use a Maldives number for Apple Account?
Day-to-day life in Maldives runs on Viber, WhatsApp and Facebook, yet Apple Account remains the app for an Apple Account with a trusted number from the country. A +960 number keeps that account tied to the country without using your personal SIM.
Maldivians studying overseas: Students in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, India and Australia keep a +960 number to stay in touch with family in Malé and the atolls.
Apple two-factor authentication depends on a trusted phone number for the life of the account.
