How to choose a country for X

X verifies accounts with a 6-digit code, delivered by SMS. You enter the number at the sign-up flow (“Phone”) or Settings → Your account → Account information → Phone. Every country on this list is one where we supply real mobile numbers for X verification, so the choice comes down to three things: what the account is for, price, and stock.

1. Match the country to how you'll use the account

If you want a local presence — news, brand or community accounts aimed at a local audience — pick a number from the country you're targeting. Some apps also tailor content, payments or features to the number's country, and a number that matches your location and language settings tends to raise fewer questions during sign-up.

2. Compare prices

Per-code prices for X currently range from $0.16 to $1.76. The cheapest five are shown above; the full table is sorted alphabetically so you can find a specific country quickly. You only pay when you order, and a single-use OTP order is refunded automatically if no code arrives.

3. Check stock

“In stock” means we have numbers ready for X in that country right now. “Restocking” means they are temporarily taken; new numbers come in during the day, so check back or choose another country.

One code, or a number you keep?

A single-use OTP number is the fastest way to get one X code. But x frequently locks new or active accounts and asks for a phone code to unlock them. A phone-number plan gives you a real mobile number you keep for as long as you renew, with unlimited incoming SMS and calls — and if X doesn't work with it within 7 days, you replace it free with another number from the same country.

An honest note

Stock and prices change through the day, and X decides which numbers it accepts — no provider can guarantee otherwise. What we can promise is what happens if it doesn't work: Single-use OTP numbers: if the code doesn't arrive, the order is refunded automatically.
