Why use a Nigeria number for PayPal?
Day-to-day life in Nigeria runs on WhatsApp, Instagram and TikTok, yet PayPal remains the app for receiving payments with a number that matches your account country. A +234 number keeps that account tied to the country without using your personal SIM.
Diaspora in the UK and US: Nigerians in London, Houston and Toronto keep a +234 number for family WhatsApp groups and to receive codes from Nigerian banking apps.
PayPal sends login and payment codes for as long as the account exists.
