Why use a Samoa number for Amazon?
Day-to-day life in Samoa runs on Facebook, Messenger and WhatsApp, yet Amazon remains the app for a local marketplace account for buying or selling. A +685 number keeps that account tied to the country without using your personal SIM.
Samoans in NZ and Australia: Large Samoan communities in Auckland, Sydney and Brisbane use a +685 number to stay close to family in Apia and Savai’i.
Amazon uses the number for two-step verification, seller checks and delivery contact.
