  • It stopped operating in late December 2025. Reported dates vary: one account says operations stopped on 22 December and the closure was announced on 29 December 2025, while another report gives 29 December 2025 as the date it halted operations.
  • HeroSMS was named as the successor. According to BitBrowser's summary, the team pointed users to HeroSMS (hero-sms.com), but HeroSMS is a separate platform, not a continuation of the SMS-Activate account system — so treat it as a new provider and evaluate it on its own terms.
