I am ready to bet that you’ve heard a lot of stories when somebody left a cell phone out by the pool and … it became a swimmer. Well, no matter how hard you tried to wipe it your phone didn’t work. It seems to me you’ve never heard of the Wet Smartphone Emergency kit from Dry-All!
HTC Ozone In Verizon for $50
If you have been waiting to get one of the most widely discussed phones of this summer, your wait is over – now you can get in Verizon Wireless the new HTC Ozone. The most interesting part is the price of the phone – simply $50. This smartphone comes in a simple business-like design and a bunch of amazing functions. I think it will be great for everybody: travellers, businessmen, and simply users.

Barack Obama New Smartphone – Sectera Edge
I guess it is not a secret Barack Obama is a great lover of Blackberry smartphones but there is no way he can use them anymore. A couple of days ago he was required to use a super-secure version of a phone called the Sectera Edge.
The following gadget costs $3,350 and it comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, a touchscreen, two usb ports and a lot more. The only one option – it looks really ugly.

Nokia N79

Nokia has added one more smartphone in its’ portfolio – Nokia N79.
The inside of this phone is quite usual – N79 is a small multimedia computer with the abilities of cell phone. Everything that one will need in modern phone is here – built-in FM transmitter, 4GB microSD memory card, integrated navigation, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity support. Nokia N79 has got nice 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash 0 that really makes a sense. Plus you’ll get a bonus of ten preloaded N-Gage games.
The design is a little simple as for me, but let’s call it minimalistic :-). On the other hand it’s customizable – you can change its Xpress-on covers that are available in Light Sea Blue, Espresso Brown, Olive Green, White and Coral Red.
But the main benefits of this handset is it’s software, that supports various social networks like Friendster, Flickr, YouTube and is integrated with Nokia Music Store and Ovi.
Nokia N79 will be availble starting from October 2008 for price of $500 approximately.
