Thanks to a next generation app on the Ovi Store you can check your and your partner’s health, use a Body Mass Index Calculator and so on.

To my mind, a lot of smartphones already have or will have such an application, but let’s give Nokia a chance.

The app consists of numerous parts, and among the most important ones are the Period Tracker and Menstruation and Fertility app.

How do you like the idea? Not bad, yeah?

I am really glad that Nokia is back on the market and its phone looks that nice. However, N9 phone received mixed reviews. The phone works on Meego operating system.

The new Nokia was presented by Nokia chief executive Stephen Elop at the CommunicAsia telecoms fair in Singapore this week. The phone boasts 854 x 480 pixel display and weighs 135 grams and it makes the phone close to the iPhone territory.

The most distinctive feature of the phone is an “all-screen” display.

Gold belongs to one of the main summer 2011 trends … If you really love gold then you will be head-over-heals because of the new Nokia Oro phone. And by the way, you won’t find a better opportunity to show to the rest of the world that you are rich enough than to buy a gold plated cell phone.

According to the manufacturer, the Nokia Oro is a premium brand product that will incorporate 18-carat gold plating which is accompanied by a sapphire crystal and leather. Not only a phone, a great investment and a fantastic thing to make everybody around go crazy from the fact how cool you are.

When you have a look inside … the following phone is almost the same as the rest of Nokia’s more recent smartphone releases. They say that the Nokia Oro will come with pentaband radio connectivity, HSDPA 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, an 8-megapixel camera, and a 3.5″ AMOLED display.

Choosing this phone you pay attention to quality and materials, to status and not to functionality. This phone is meant to impress and not to be an entertaining station. The price is high … more than 800 Euros.

The right phone for rich people!

Nokia has been attempting to cater for a growing market of mobile phone users who can do without all the latest ‘bells and whistles’ on their handset; they have introduced a range of entry-level smart phones which they hope will appeal to customers who are not quite after the latest iPhone or Blackberry …

At first glance, the Nokia 5230 is superb value for money; from as little as £50 on PAYG, it delivers a superbly reliable smart phone with features that far surpass its small cost. The main features of the Nokia 5230 are a large touch screen, a GPS (featuring Ovi Maps), 3G access, downloadable applications from the Ovi Store and a very large battery life. As you might expect at such a low price range, the Nokia 5230 suffers from a few hardware drawbacks that simply cannot be expected to be overcome, such as a poor quality camera, a mono speaker and no access to Wi-Fi or Video calling options.

Many people thought that the Nokia 5230 might fall slightly below specification of Nokia’s other entry-level smartphone, the 5530; despite this, the handsets enjoy an almost symbiotic relationship – if one phone lacks a feature, then it is a fairly safe bet that the other phone will incorporate it. If the two phones were combined then they would make an exceptional handset indeed.

Fans of the Nokia 5800 will be glad to see that it is virtually identical to the earlier model, which means that users receive a 3.2 inch display with high resolution pixel rate of 640 x 360.

The Nokia 5320 is a superb entry-level smartphone, and serves its purpose well; there is more than enough on offer to justify its release into an already crowded market. Those who can overlook little niggles such as the poor camera and lack of Wi-Fi will find this to be a very pleasing handset for its price.

From the first sight this ring looks like a standard piece of jewellery, but it is actually a strong magnet. You have to rotate the ring to pick from a number of options. What is.more, the ring can easily memorize your options.

The researchers will present their findings at the Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems in Vancouver, Canada next month.
