After all the failures of 2009 the Swedish-Japanese alliance aka Sony Ericsson is back again – this time with the new Android proposition – the Sony Ericsson X10. It is obvious, this 4-inch screen phone has everything to be a real leader. As to me, namely this phone will return Sony Ericsson to the world of serious and prestigious mobile phones.

To my mind, this phone has two striking features: the massive screen, of course, and the way it shines – mesmerizing. The design is flawless, it is a kind of phone you would like to hold and have.
The screen occupies most of the front of the phone, and there are three buttons at the bottom: menu, home and back, however, it will take you some time to find out “who is who here.” On the top of the phone, there’s the 3.5mm headphone jack, and the on/off button – everything is simple and convenient.

As to the the tech specs. Impressive:
- The OS is Google Android 1.6;
- The phone comes with the Qualcomm 1Ghz Snapdragon processor;
- The touchscreen is 4″ in size and boasts a 480×854 WVGA resolution;
- Comes with GPS with Google Maps;
- Xperia X10 boasts an 8.1 megapixel camera lens with an LED flash;
- 3G with HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth;
- Available in Sensuous Black and Luster White.
