Palm has finally launched its Pre and the phone debuted at CES. Apart from using a completely new hardware, the phone comes with new operational system called webOS. After a closer look I am ready to share with some interesting peculiarities of this gadget.
The phone is definitely stylish since its casing is made from sleek, touch-pleasing and glossy plastic, it comes with the 3.1-inch touchscreen (that seems to be even more responsive than those of iPhone’s), the body is a bit curvy in the back and around the sides, but it would easily slip into a pocket and what is more the phone feels great in the hand.
I completely love its convenient QWERTY keyboard that slides from underneath the screen. The cam has only 3 pixels and a LED flash – the quality is not bad but not as great as a 5 pixel cam offers.
The gadget has no expandable storage. Nothing has been said about its price yet, the only one thing we now for sure it would be “competitive”. The release of the phone is scheduled for the “first half of 2009″. So we can get it both in a couple of weeks and in May.
There are still a lot of things we don’t know about this phone but we will try our best to discover them.
