It’s completely unbelievable but Samsung has just showed their new phone the Blue Earth – a solar-powered touchscreen phone that stands on the basics of  eco-friendliness. The phone is all things green, for example, it comes with a built in pedometer and it calculates how much CO2 you are throwing in the air. What is more, there are two ways of powering the phone – the first one is a traditional one and the second is a solar panels’ energy. So your phone will work as  long as the sun is here. The telephone is free of harmful materials.

The Blue Earth will debut in the UK in the second half of 2009. Would you like to have such a phone?
