I’ve never understand the love and enthusiasm most people feel to Nokia 6700. As to me, it is a simple and usual cheap phone. It doesn’t have anything incredible or amazing to be a talk of the town. Critics don’t think so, and a couple of days ago was announced a new version of Nokia 6700 classic with the 18-carat gold – the Nokia 6700 classic Gold Edition. The phone will cost approximately – $500.

As to me, apart from its design and functions, the phone has something else that attracts people – it’s price, the phone is very expensive and namely its unaffordable price makes it’s tempting.

The phone belongs to the premium segment. Let’s be honest – functionality is not the key. This phone shows status. Love it and what about you?

Nokia has just launched the production of a new phone – the X6 phone. The Nokia X6 comes not only in a very unusual design this phone boats:

a 3.2-inch touchscreen;
32GB of storage, BTW, it can be a real the iPhone’s competitor, at least, because of this storage capacity;
a 5-megapixel camera;
dual LED flash;
TV-out;
video editing;
A-GPS and Ovi Maps,;
full web browser;

Sound really impressive, yeah? I guess the saddest thing is actually, the price! This phone will cost about $650. Not the cheapest offer, yeah?

The Nokia N900 Review

I must confess, I love Nokia mobile phones and I don’t think they are either stupid or boring. As to me, these phones have everything even the most demanding user needs: they are of high quality, incredible and convenient design, and top-notch functions.

The new Nokia N900 phone is not an exception. The N900 is the Nokia’s first Linux-based Maemo handset. According to the manufacturer the phone comes with a powerful ARM Cortex-A8 processor, 1GB of memory, a 800×480 WVGA touchscreen, a full and convenient QWERTY keyboard, a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, Wi-Fi, FM transmitter, TV-out.

The phones looks everything but boring and I really love its QWERTY-keyboard!

Microsoft Office Comes to Nokia Mobiles

Wow, it looks like Microsoft and Nokia, these two giants, have finally made an agreement and announced that very soon Microsoft office will come to Nokia Mobiles. God only knows how it will look like but I am looking forward to enjoying the result of this alliance team work.

Right now the details are very scarce at the moment. Everything I know is that Microsoft has been expanding the platforms Office 2010 will work on, and Nokia with its handsets will be an official partner of Microsoft.

I am ready to bet that is the best way to stay afloat in a tough completion with the rapidly evolving Android and Google Apps.

A couple of days ago AT&T* and Nokia announced their brand new phone – the Nokia Surge. First of all, and you can see it with the naked eye, the phone looks amazing and very stylish. It is one of the most elegant phones (except for 8800), that company has ever produced. I am in love with its warm, sleek and nice curves, shining case and bright display.

The phone works on a Symbian S60 base, of course, it is a smartphone, also it comes with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The cam is not something to be impressed with - it features only a 2.0 megapixel camera, but it is still something. Except for the above-mentioned functions, the phone has AT&T Navigator, AT&T Mobile Music and AT&T Video Share and JuiceCaster.

Everybody concerned can get the phone on July 19 for $79.99 with a two-year service agreement after rebate.

The new Nokia’ 3720 Classic offers pure pleasures and really amazing design and that’s all. Frankly speaking, I am ready to bet our world is tired from numerous super powerful and functional phones, anyway, all phones have rather small screens, and even our beloved iPhone, because its screen has nothing in common with the smallest laptop display. Thanks to the new phone from Nokia we are back to basics and can perfectly understand what phones are destined for – to make and receive calls and sometimes to write messages. Are you with me?

The upcoming phone from Nokia will come with only main features a phone should have and it won’t burn holes in your pockets. The phone is going to hit the markets this summer at right around $175 bucks. The water will be perfect to those who live in really tough conditions, I mean it can easily handle with water, dust, vibration, and etc.

However, its software is not exactly pristine since it features 2.2″ screen, 2 megapixel camera, microSD support. Would you like to be an owner of such a phone?

First Data About Nokia’s Next Tablet

I am still a successful and happy owner of Nokia N95 that is why a creation of a new Nokia tablet drew my attention as a magnet. The phone was announced as the the first of its kind in the class as well as one of the most amazing phones ever. According Nokia there is no name for a new tablet. However, they claim it will be designer in the same vein as their N810. Most international tabloids claim this phone to be “N900″, “Rover”, and even “Maemo Flagship”.

So, from the first sight the N900 is similar to the Nokia N97 and comes with a 3.5″ touchscreen, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. But the screen of the phone comes with incredible resolution – 800×480. The phone works on Maemo rather than S60.

The new phone weighs something like 180g and features a 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss camera with dual-LED flash, and autofocus. There is a1GB total virtual runtime memory, Wi-Fi, 32GB internal storage. It is expected that the phone will hit the markets in October 2009. Would you like to have one?
